Documentation Required:

  1. Passport;
  2. Drivers Licence;
  3. Blue copy of Eurodrive contract. Insurance documents will be issued upon delivery of the vehicle.
  4. Alternate driver: Persons related to the contract holder who are entitled to use the TT registered vehicle: Spouse or concubine, ascendants and descendants ONLY. They must be authorized in writing by a formal Proxy document, supplied on demand, established at the same time as the other documentation, prior to delivery.
  5. All vehicles are supplied left hand drive and fitted with normal tyres.
    1. When driving in winter it is the responsibility of each driver to respect the legal requirements in place in each European country visited.
    2. Our insurance cover remains the same regardless of whether the car is equipped with snow tyres or not.
    3. If you decide to purchase your own snow tyres you must return the car with its original tyres, otherwise you will be billed for them.
Early Bird Special: the promotion is limited to clients who book and pre-pay the full amount of their rental at least three months before delivery - the two offers are not combinable and their application depends on the value of the contract, i.e.: for contracts totaling up to 1,100Eu only the free days will be granted, whilst for contracts from 1,101Eu the 50% on pickup charges will be granted, when applicable.

Refunds:
No refunds will be paid for the early return of vehicle.

Deliveries and Returns: Deliveries and returns within France are free; charges are applicable to other European cities. (see detailed listing in the "About Eurodrive" page). The return of a vehicle to a centre other than that indicated on the Eurodrive contract may result in additional charges to the customer.

Insurance Cover:

Your vehicle is covered for full comprehensive insurance in the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Vatican.

The following coverage has been added to ensure the client's peace of mind:

  • Tyre puncture and/or air loss which immobilizes the vehicle, requiring towing to a workshop to fix the proble, provided the vehicle is equipped with a spare and a jack
  • Loss, Theft or Breakage of the car key, except keys locked inside a vehicle, in which case AXA Assistance will only provide the locksmith while all other expenses will be at the client's charge;
  • Running on Empty - coverage of expenses incurred in case the vehicle's fuel meter malfunction causes stoppage;
  • Wrong fuel - all accidental and involuntary intake of diesel instead of petrol or vice versa
Please note the following items are not covered: - Loss or non return of the vehicles registration and insurance papers; Repairs or work made to your vehicle by any person unless authorized by Renault Eurodrive; - Personal effects; Telephone calls.

Terms and Insurance coverage are subject to change; please contact our office for further information. Just like your local full comprehensive insurance policy, you are covered for accident damage, theft, vandalism and third party injury to occupants in the car including in most instances, the driver. There are NO ADDITIONAL collision waiver costs.

Please note that should your vehicle be delayed or incur a mechanical breakdown, Renault Eurodrive will, subject to the terms of the Assistance Program, arrange for a replacement rental vehicle or accommodation on your behalf until your vehicle has been repaired at the initial place of delay. Further details of the Renault Assistance Program are available on request from our office.

Customers who travel in a country that is not mentioned in the above list of insured countries do so at their own risk and shall assume full responsibility for any incidents during the course of their travels in these uninsured countries.

Your Renault is protected:

  • In case of breakdown: by the Renault manufacturer warranty.
  • In case of accident, theft, attempted theft, fire, vandalism, broken windows: by the deductible-free multi-risk insurance in your Renault Eurodrive contract.
In the event of damage, you must complete:
  • an accident report with a third party (check the insurance policy number of the third party and make sure he/she signs the document); or
  • a detailed report (with detailed explanations of the circumstances, including the registration number and the date of the accident).

NOTE

You are no longer insured after the validity date of your insurance certificate, neither if you drive in a country not mentioned in the list above.

IMPORTANT

Morocco and Tunisia are no longer covered by Renault Eurodrive insurance/assistance.
